First look: Siddhanth Kapoor as Dawood Ibrahim in Haseena biopic

After unveiling Shraddha Kapoor’s look as young and older Haseena Parker, now her brother Siddhanth Kapoor’s look in the biopic ‘Haseena – The Queen’ has also been revealed. Shraddha’s real life brother plays her on screen brother, underworld don Dawood Ibrahim, in the movie.

Shraddha took to her Instagram page on Monday to share a glimpse of Siddhanth’s different looks in the film. The ‘Baaghi’ actress juxtaposed two pictures of her brother as a young Dawood and his older version.

Just like Shraddha’s look released a few weeks ago, Siddhanth’s pictures are also in a similar setting. In the picture which shows a younger Dawood, the actor is seen seated on a leather chair with a leg resting on the other. He is dressed in a V-neck striped tee and brown pants. In the other picture of the older version, Siddhanth sports a deadlier look. He is seated in the same pose and is dressed in a white tee and black pants, teamed with a monochrome textured blazer. He also looks slightly bulkier in the older version of Dawood.

The background of the pictures has framed photographs kept on a desk. However, unlike in Shraddh’s look pictures where there was an attaché case kept beside the chair, nothing such is there in her Siddhanth’s pictures.

"So proud to introduce my real and reel life brother. Introducing bhai. Younger and older. 'Haseena'...Siddhanth Kapoor...Apoorva Lakhia," Shraddha captioned the image on Instagram.

Siddhanth too shared the same image on his social media account and captioned, "The transformation of 'bhai'."

The actor will be showcasing the character from age 20s to 40s. Siddhanth had to put on nine kilos for the role in the biopic.

Apoorva Lakhia is directing ‘Haseena – The Queen’, which will touch upon the life of Dawood Ibrahim’s sister in four high points of her life as a crime boss — her dealings with the slum redevelopment authorities, negotiating overseas rights of Hindi films, the Hawala racket, and the territorial wars among cable operators in the city. Haseena passed away in July, 2014 after suffering a massive heart attack at the age of 55.

The biopic is scheduled to hit the screens on July 14.
