Tubelight’ is Salman Khan’s much anticipated Eid release this year slated to hit screens on June 23. It has been directed by Kabir Khan and also stars Sohail Khan, late actor Om Puri, Chinese actress Zhu Zhu and child artiste Matin Rey Tangu.

The songs for the film has been composed by Pritam, while Amitabh Bhattacharya and Kausir Munir have penned the lyrics. Sony Music has acquired the rights of the film’s songs.

Radio: The Radio song was the first track of the album to be released. It is a feel-good celebratory song and Amitabh Bhattacharya’s lyrics speak about a khushkhabri (good news). Pritam has composed it with lively music with an interesting prelude music of accordion and clap sounds. Kamaal Khan and Amit Mishra have energetically sung the song.

Nach Meri Jaan: This one is a peppy and enjoyable track composed by Pritam. The lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya speak about the unconditional bond between two brothers who are inseparable and incomplete without each other. Kamaal Khan, Nakash Aziz, Dev Negi and Tushar Joshi have lent their vocals to the fun and happy song.

Tinka Tinka Dil Mera: It is a heart wrenching number rendered in the soulful vocals of Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. The lyrics penned by Kausir Munir are sad and emotional, and Pritam has beautifully arranged the track.

The song also comes on one more version titled ‘Tinka Tinka Dil Mera Film Version’ which has been sung by Jubin Nautiyal. Both the songs are pleasant.

Main Agar: This one is a heart-felt song about love and friendship rendered in the magical vocals of Atif Aslam. The melodious tune begins on a slow note and soon takes a higher pitch. Pritam had arranged it with his quintessential guitar riffs and drum beats. Amitabh Bhattacharya’s lyrics are noteworthy.

The combination of Pritam and Amitabh Bhattacharya has dished out several hit songs in the past and the music album of ‘Tubelight’ is no less. Keeping in tune with the film’s theme, it has two fun songs and two emotional numbers and each one is good as the other.
