SYNOPSIS: A very interesting movie where suspense dominates the whole proceeding from begging to end. This is a very eventful drama with lot of twists and turns. Superb screenplay and memorable performances by actors made this movie a rare gem in Bengali fim history. Sudhansu is a rich businessman who had been a bitter marital experience earlier, decided to marry a famous rich girl Soma after the demise of his first wife Kalpana. Soma is an urban, cultured, loving daughter of a renowned and reputed Law professional. She knows about the early life of Sudhansu and feels for him. Everybody knows that Kalpana had a psychological problem and she committed suicide. Soma too heard about it but she is now looking for a great future with Sudhansu. But at the night of their marriage function a Bengali middleclass lady enters into the drama and claims herself as Kalpana. Sudhansu denies it but did not show the proof to police and the marriage temporarily postponed.
