Since Aamir Khan wanted to release his next film, directed by Reema Kagti, on June 1, he requested Salman Khan & Aditya Chopra to shift Ek tha Tiger to accommodate this release. Given the close relationship and mutual respect they share for one another, both Adi and Salman were happy to oblige and shift the release to Eid. Directed by Kabir Khan and Produced by Aditya Chopra, the film features Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles.
