The film, jointly produced by Arka Mediaworks and Sanghamitra Art Productions, also stars Sarah-Jane Dias, Anjali Lavania, Jackie Shroff and Sesh Adivi, while featuring music scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography handled by PS Vinod.[1][2] A gangster film with mafia backdrop,[3] Panjaa is currently in its post-production stage with re-recording alone remaining and is scheduled for a release on 9 December 2011.
