O Re Piya - Aaja Nachle (2007) Special Compilation Aaja Nachle (2007) is a movie by Anil Mehta starring Madhuri Dixit, Konkona Sen Sharma, Akshaye Khanna, Kunal Kapoor, Divya Dutta, Felix D'Alviella and others... Dia (Madhuri Dixit) is a passionate dancer from Shamli. She plays with other village girls regularly in the open-air theatre "Ajanta". One day, she falls in love with the American photographer Steve (Felix D'Alviella) with whom she eloped to New York, before she must enter into an arranged marriage with Mohan. In America cultural differences make them separate. Eleven years later Dia gets news from Shamli that the Ajanta theatre will be demolished to make room for a shopping centre. She decides to go back with her daughter Radha to her hometown and to try to save the theatre. On the spot she meets the MP Raja Saheb (Akshay Khanna) and his investor. She succeeds in negotiating an arrangement: She must get up a perfect musical which is only acted out by the villagers. In compensation, the shopping centre project will be put on ice. Dia intends to resurrect Ajanta and bring back the culture of dance and theatre in Shamli. She tries to find the perfect cast for her musical, but she doesn't enjoy good reputation among the denizens of her small hometown... The music is by Salim-Sulaiman.
