Main Khiladi Tu Anari (1994) is a fun action comedy by Sameer Malkan starring Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan, Shilpa Shetty, Raveena Tandon, Rageshwari, Shakti Kapoor, Kader Khan, Johnny Lever, Beena, Mukesh Khanna, and others... The movie ist a remake of the hollywood movie 'The Hard Way (1991)'. Karan (Ashkay Kumar), a policeman, wants to avenge his brother killed by Mumbai criminal underworld. The only witness Mona (Shilpa Shetty), placed into protection of Karan, is also killed by the prime suspect Goli (Shakti Kapoor), a ruthless gangster. The Investigation becomes more complicated when Karan is ordered to work with Deepak (Saif Ali Khan), a frustrated famous actor, who tries to redeem his dull existence and boring roles with an exciting new role. Deepak is very impressed by Karan's style and decides to imitate him and to make him his role model. Once Karan meets Basanti, a crude dancer Basanti but a sosie of Mona. Karan allows Deepak to hang around him, if he get Basanti to pose as Mona. Soon after the three hatch a plan to bring Goli to justice... The music is by Anu Malik. The lyrics are by Rahat Indoree.
