In July 2011, it was confirmed that Sanjay Dutt and Salman Khan will be hosting the show together. Later Sanjay Dutt confirmed that Khan will only shoot the first two episodes and not the whole season leaving Sanjay Dutt as the main presenter of Bigg Boss 5. [edit] Promo The promo of Bigg Boss 5 was directed by Rohit Shetty and featured Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt. The duo shot for the promo with Shetty at a studio in Mumbai on 22 July 2011.
