KARACHI: The Awami National Party (ANP), Sindh chapter, announced to end the boycott of the Geo Television Network on Wednesday.Hasan Mustafa and Zilay Haider from Geo television and General Secretary ANP Sindh Bashir Jan held a meeting at the Bacha Khan Markaz. It was assured that ANP's reservations regarding its media coverage on television would soon be addressed. According to the general secretary ANP Sindh, the delegation of Geo TV gave assurances that the ANP's programmes and political activities would get proper airtime. The nationalist party then decided to end its boycott. However, he said that they still have reservations about the coverage of the newspaper."The Jang newspaper does not give us timely and due coverage and the ANP still has reservations," he further said. Jan added that they would end the boycott of the newspaper when the management of the newspaper addressed their reservations.
