‘Zindaggi Rocks’ Music Launched with Shahrukh, Sushmita, Shiney, Karisma
‘Zindaggi Rocks’ music was launched at a suburban five star hotel with great fanfare and saw some of the most high profile celebrities and VIP’s in Mumbai. The film which is the maiden venture of producer Anuradha Prasad stars Sushmita Sen and Shiney Ahuja in pivotal roles. The film has been directed by Tanuja Chandra. The music has been composed by Anu Mallik and the lyrics have been done by Mudassar Aziz and Syeed Quadri. Sushmita Sen who has just recovered from a severe neck injury performed on stage and enthralled the audiences with her dazzling diva like performance. Actor Shiney Ahuja too swayed to a few beats on stage.
The main star attraction was none other than the King Khan , Shahrukh who came in sporting his new unkempt beard look. Khan took to the mike and dazzled the crowds with his wit and charm on stage. There were also song n dance performances by singer Zubeen Garg, Tulsi Kumar, Anushka Manchanda and Javed Ali. Karisma Kapur came in for a while and she looked absolutely gorgeous in a knee-length black number. Sportsman Sachin Tendulkar and his wife Anjali came and were immediately thronged by the crowds with everyone trying to get a piece of the quite and sober Sachin. Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh, Uddhav Thackeray, Police Commissioner A.N. Roy, business tycoon Mukesh Ambani were also some of the VIP’s that attended the high profile do.
Actress Kim Sharma, Amrita Rao, Yukta Mookhey, Nagma, Govinda, Ashmit Patel, Jackie Shroff, director Sudhir Misra, Satish Kaushik, Anupam Kher, Subhash Ghai, David Dhawan, Madhur Bhandarkar and Mukesh Bhatt were seen having a good time. Director Tanuja said “I have a deep confidence in my film’s music and also it’s quality of storytelling.” Yesteryear actress Moushmi Chatterjee attended the event and will also be seen making a comeback in the film playing a double role. Sushmita Sen’s current beau Manav Menon also attended the do to show support for his ladylove but kept a low profile all through the event. Needless to say that with so many celebrities and VIP’s at the event the security quotient was extremely high. Nonetheless everyone seemed to have a relatively good time.
