Yashraj focuses on Saif-Kareena, ignores Akshay

Saif-Kareena has become the best saleable pair of the film industry. Filmmakers and advertisers are running after them to cast them in their film and endorse their products. Filmmakers believe that their magic is capable of dragging mammoth audience to the theatre. And due to the increasing demand of Saif and Kareena, Yashraj Films is focusing more on them in the promos of Tashan, ignoring other star cast like Akshay Kumar and Anil Kapoor. In other words, we can say that their over popularity is effecting the status of other stars.

Akshay Kumar and Yashraj Films are at loggerheads. Akki is equally important in the film and when the promos are exposing Saif and Kareena only, he was furious. If sources are to be believed, on watching Akshay’s awesome performance in Tashan, Yashraj films has offered him a new film but Akshay coolly turned it down saying that he is not convinced with the story. Grapevine also buzzed that another reason of his rejection is the Tashan promo.

Yashraj films believe that Akki has been able to create a different image of him other than action hero because of their film Dil Toh Pagal Hai and now he is repudiating their offer. Tashan is the most awaited and a must-watch movie among the cine-goers for two reasons, firstly, it is another offering from the Yashraj banner and secondly, Bollywood’s hottest couple Saif and Kareena’s love story started from this movie. Tashan is slated to release in April.
