 It is a dream for any new comer to get a breakthrough Yash Chopra's banner. Kim Sharma had got this chance through YashRaj Film's 'Mohabattein'. It was expected that she would register her name as one of leading actresses of the industry very soon. But it didn't happen
She could not exhibit her talent though got a chance in some films like 'Tumse Achha Kaun Hai', 'Supari' and 'Kehta Hai Dil Baar Baar'. Being frustrated she turned towards modeling and in the beginning of this year she gave hot poses for StarDust magazine.
This also did not help her to get offers from any big banner though she got for some B and C grade films. She got a chance in 'Fida' but Kareena shadowed her character. She had claimed that her role had been as important as that of Kareena but after the release of the film nobody noticed her acting. Now she is coming in Mahesh Manjrekar's 'PadmaShree Lalu Prasad Yadav', 'Nahle Pe Dehla (against Sanjay Dutt ) and Akbar Khan's 'Taaj Mahal'. She is banking on these films but only time would tell how far the audience appreciates the performance of this discovery of Yash Copra.
