Watch: Ayushmann Khurranna introduce ‘Meri Pyaari Bindu’; shooting begins

After a long gap, actress Parineeti Chopra has begun the shoot for her upcoming film ‘Meri Pyaari Bindu’ in Kolkata. The 27-year-old actress was last seen in Shaad Ali’s 2014 film ‘Kill Dill’ opposite Ranveer Singh.

Her co-star in the film Ayushmann Khurrana will join the set soon. Parineeti took to Twitter and wrote, “It all begins in the city of joy! Bindu's favourite Abhimanyu will be here soon. Watch out for @ayushmannk @MeriPyaariBindu."

Ayushmann plays the role of a Bengali writer named Abhimanyu Roy and he flaunts a beard for the role. Yash Raj Films, which is producing the movie, has released an interesting video introducing the actor’s look and character.

In the one-and-half-minute clip, Ayushmann donning a white kurta is seen typing on old typewriter, sitting on a bench at a tea stall beside a street. He narrates how he picks up his characters for his novel from his surroundings itself. He then speaks about Bindu and begins a new story ‘Meri Pyaari Bindu’.

The ‘Vicky Donor’ actor shared the link of the video on his Twitter timeline by posting, “#MeriPyaariBindu @ParineetiChopra I love it when the Bindu in you says such things. Here's something special.”

The ‘Ishaqzaade’ actress will be seen playing an aspiring singer. She will also make her singing debut with the movie.

‘Meri Pyaari Bindu’ is being directed by debutant Akshay Roy and produced by Maneesh Sharma under YRF banner.

Earlier this year, YRF announced the movie in their unique style by releasing a video featuring Parineeti Chopra.
