Waheeda wants to see Madhuri in her role

Renowned actress Waheeda Rehman walks down the memory lane during the screening of her evergreen classic Guide. She recalls the days of Guide which are filled with many memorable incidents. She spoke to the reporters during the felicitation ceremony by the Taj Mahal Enlighten Film Society for her outstanding contribution to Indian cinema. During the event, she was asked whom she feels best suited for the role of Rosy, Waheeda was quick to reply, Madhuri Dixit, because she dances and acts well.  

Waheeda evoke, "I remember when there was a trial show, Dev Anand told me, everyone is talking only about Rosy. I'm the producer, I'm the hero but everyone is talking about the heroine, mujhe gussa aa raha hain (I am angry)." With Guide, her chemistry with Dev Anand became immortal.

Waheeda was last seen in Rang De Basanti starring Aamir Khan and Soha Ali Khan and she will again hit the silver screen with Rakeysh Om Prakash Mehra's Dilli 6 early next year.
