Vidya to add hubby Siddharth’s surname to her name
It’s been four months Vidya Balan tied the knot with UTV head honcho Siddharth Roy Kapur in both Punjabi and Tamil tradition and soon after the wedding Vidya returned to work. Vidya's first movie post wedding to Siddharth is almost ready to hit the marquee and the ‘The Dirty Picture’ actress is something else going in her mind besides the film good opening. She is planning to add her husband surname to her name.
There's has been a hush hush in Vidya’s team about her new decision. She is thinking of changing her screen name to the triple-barrelled Vidya Balan Roy Kapur.
A source present at the party told, "The other guests
got excited and started inquiring. The team member continued talking without
realising others were listening in as well."
"In fact, all of them told the team member to congratulate Vidya for her
decision on their behalf," added the source.
Vidya will be seen in Raj Kumar Gupta's upcoming film Ghanchakkar with Emraan Hashmi and her new screen name will be Vidya Balan Roy Kapur.
For the consecutive four years, Vidya Balan has been receiving best actress award. Last year, she won the best actress award for her role in 'Kahaani'. This year too her hand is full with good projects. She will be seen in Sujoy Ghosh's 'Badla' with Amitabh Bachchan and Naseeruddin Shah. Then it will be followed by a biopic on MS Subbulakshmi and next on the line is 'Shaadi Ke Side Effects'.

like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Shilpa Shetty and Kareena Kapoor who after marriage
added their husband's surname to their name.
