Vidya is Abhishek’s lady love

Beautiful Vidya Balan will play Abhishek’s love interest in ad filmmaker turned director R Balakrishnan’s Pa. Earlier, he thought to cast Aishwarya but later dropped the idea and signed Vidya. She is a fabulous actress and her combination with Abhi is expected to be a hit.

Vidya and Abhishek had shared screen space in Guru and now they will be cast opposite each other. Looking at the script, the director feels that Vidya will be a perfect match for Abhishek. Amitabh Bachchan will play the role of Abhishek’s father.

Describing the script, R Balakrishnan (Balki) said that Pa is a light hearted comedy and speaks about father, son’s relationship. Balki showed his potential in making simple comedy in Cheeni Kum with Amitabh and Tabu. The comfort level of the three stars is expected to be very high as they all worked with each other before. Vidya had worked with Big B in Eklavya. Actor Paresh Rawal will also be seen in a pivotal role. Balki has again picked Cheeni Kum music composer, Illayaraja to frame the music of his next project.
