Vidya Balan goes backless at Siddhivinayak temple
Though clad in a sari, her glamorous quotient was with her even when the seductive and the noted actress Vidya Balan visited Siddhivinayak temple to offer prayers to lord Ganesha. She was seen wearing a just- there backless blouse revealing her bare back to her fans.
Vidya, who has given a number of hit and critically acclaimed movies, came to Siddhivinayak temple along with her parents and her niece. Vidya was looking traditional in a sari with bindi properly glued to her beautiful face and vermillion on her forehead. But then she is an actress and she cannot leave without giving her fans a hint of her trademark style. Her backless blouse added a glam quotient to her otherwise traditional outfit.
Amidst a huge crowd, she entered the temple and offered prayers to lord Ganesha. Her fans captured her in their cell phone cameras. Divya did not shy away from being captured. She smiled at her fans who waved at her and clicked her.
Vidya Balan is married to producer and CEO of UTV motion pictures, Siddharth Roy Kapur. Siddharth is a two time divorcee. He separated from his second wife in 2008 and their divorce came in force in 2011. On December 14th 2012, Siddharth married Vidya in a private ceremony. He met Vidya at the backstage of a Filmfare show. Both liked each other and after dating for a long time, they tied knot.
Vidya is associated with small screen since a long time. At the age of sixteen, she appeared in a TV serial ‘Hum Paanch’. She then appeared in a number of commercials. She entered world of cinema with a Bengali movie ‘Bhalo Theko’. In 2005, she got a break in Bollywood and she acted in ‘Parineeta’ opposite Saif Ali Khan and Sanjay Dutt. This was followed with ‘Lage Raho Munna Bhai’. Both the movies were hit.
Then Vidya tried her luck with some glamorous roles but didn’t receive much praise in ‘Heyy Baby’ and ‘Kismat Konnection’. She then took a turn and appeared in intense roles with ‘Paa’ and dark comedy ‘Ishqiya’. She was highly applauded.Vidya has received one National film award, 5 screen awards and 5 filmfare awards. Currently she is busy shooting for her upcoming movie ‘Shaadi Ke Side Effects’. The movie will release in 2013. In 2012, ‘Verve’ magazine listed Vidya as one of the India’s ‘Young Power Women’.
