...English movie THE FIFTH MOVE and YAGNA, starring Amitabh Bachchan in the lead. While rumours abound that Dustin Hoffman and Anthony Hopkins are leading contenders for the lead in THE FIFTH MOVE, Chopra however refuses to confirm. “The project is still on the move,” he chuckles, adding that he is keeping everything under wraps.
It is learnt that the scripting of both THE FIFTH MOVE and YAGNA is complete, to enable the commencement of shooting by early next year. The film-maker does admit that the film, exploring the psyche of two chess players, is being targeted for the overseas audiences because, as Chopra reasons, “The Indian audiences will find it hard to identify with the theme. Hence, it's for the foreign audiences.”
YAGNA, on the other hand, is a desi treat. “It is about the sufferings a person goes through to achieve satisfaction and emerge a winner in life.”
