The Prime Minister has requested producer Ashok Thakeria for a screening of Masti today. This is the first time the PM himself has wanted to see a film!
Lara Dutta is unlikely to attend the screening of the film though.
Also the news is in that Lara Dutta’s in no mood to be part of the item grind. The sexy former Miss Universe who’d been deluged with item song offers after Khakee’s Aisa Jadoo wooed the charts, has been reportedly rejecting item songs every day and has no intentions of doing another.
For now she wants only to play the heroine! One can’t blame her considering she has lots of meaty roles in films coming up, including the forthcoming Masti, directed by Indra Kumar. Although Lara only has a cameo, it is a role crucial to the film say insiders.
