Unidentified techie hacked Rajinikanth’s Twitter account
In a rather shocking incident, ‘Thalaiva’ aka Rajinikanth’s Twitter account was hacked. But the good news is that the account has been retrieved after an hour. It is later learnt that an unidentified techie hacked the superstar's account to make #HitToKill trend worldwide.
Rajinikanth's official Twitter handle @superstarrajini, was hacked last night. Ardent fans of Thalaivar were in a shock when the actor had tweeted "Rajinikanth #HitToKill".
A few hours later, Rajinikanth's daughter and director Aishwarya R Dhanush confirmed the news on Twitter that the actor's handle had been retrieved. She wrote, " @superstarrajini appa's account was hacked..handle retrieved. Thank you all :) #AllIsWell."
An unknown techie had managed to hack the account in an
attempt to make '#HitToKill' trend worldwide. Rajinikanth started following a
host of celebrities including the likes of Kamal Haasan, producer 'Kalaipuli' S
Thanu, director Pa Ranjith, Sharukh Khan, Aamir Khan and PRO Riaz Ahmed. After
his account was restored, the aforesaid celebrities were unfollowed.
Rajinikanth, who started Twitter journey on February 2013 has now three million followers.
On the work front, his latest release ‘Kabali’ is doing exceptionally well at the
ticket counters, breaking all the box-office records.
