Uday Chopra and Tanisha split
Uday Chopra has been seen in a few films like Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi, Dhoom 1 & 2, Neal & Nikki etc, but the actor’s career has not yet taken off in a big way. He is also the younger son of film bigwig Yash Chopra. Actress Tanisha who is Kajol’s sister has done a few films too but her career has also not yet taken off. Uday and Tanisha met while doing the film Neal & Nikki and although the film was a dud, love blossomed between the two while shooting. The two have been rumoured to be seeing each other for quite a while now and according to sources were even contemplating marriage. However now it seems their relationship has turned sour and the two have split.
A source claims “It’s rather sad that they have parted ways as they were planning to get engaged sometime soon. But their break up took place recently.” The reason for the break up it seems is that Tanisha wanted to concentrate and give a boost to her flagging film career. Tanisha has recently signed quite a few films and has been busy shooting for them. Meanwhile Uday whose film career is not really going places is upset that Tanisha is unable to spend time with him and instead has chosen to give her career all her attention. Tanisha was not forthcoming on her personal life and said “My relationship is a personal matter which I don’t want to talk about at this point in time.” However she is more than happy to talk about her professional life and says “Work has hit me hard and now I’m going all out doing good films.” She is busy with Kumar Mangat’s film 123 and she will also be seen in Sarkar Raj.
Tanisha has been on a long break and has not been seen in any films for quite a while. The actress claims that the reason for this was “The roles that were offered to me were rather boring, so I decided to take a break till I got quality films.” And now that the lass has been offered quality roles in films, there is no stopping her and it seems for Tanisha love will just have to wait while she focuses all her energies on her career right now.
