Aamir’s ‘P.K.’ trailer to come out with Salman's ‘Kick’

In Bollywood, personal equations between superstars can often become a big factor. While stars take rivalry with other stars very seriously, they also know how to take help from industry friends and work it in their advantage.

Two of the top Khans of Bollywood, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan are all set to prove that once again. The two of them first came together during the making of ‘Andaz Apna Apna’ in 1994 and has been friends ever since. Although there was a time both of then drifted away, getting busy in their respective careers, they were brought closer again by Salman’s rivalry with Shahrukh Khan, with  whom Aamir is also said to have a cold war.

Reports had been doing rounds for some time now that the trailer for Aamir’s next film ‘P.K.’ was to be launched with the release of Salman Khan’s ‘Kick’.  But now it has been more or less confirmed.  An industry source informs that Aamir and Salman recently met and decided to go ahead with the plan. Both ‘Kick’ and ‘P.K.’ are backed by Disney and this is most likely among the factors that influenced this decision. The source said, "Salman recently met Aamir and they decided that P.K.'s trailer will be out with Kick. Both films are backed by Disney."

While this is a big news, it is not the first time that the stars have looked out for each other. While hosting the popular reality show ‘Bigg Boss’, Salman had promoted Aamir’s film ‘Dhoom 3’. Aamir too did his bit in promoting Salman’s film ‘Jai Ho’. It looks like they want to take this friendship forward.

Directed by noted film maker Raju Hirani,‘P.K.’ is a satirical film based on ‘Indian Gods and Goddesses’. In the film Aamir Khan will be playing the role of an alien who lands on earth and then has to take various avatars to survive. Reportedly, Aamir will be donning several peculiar looks in the film. One photo released from the sets show him, wearing a yellow helmet, a ghagra, lipstick and beads etc. Apart from Aamir, the film features Sanjay Dutt, Anushka Sharma and Sushant Singh Rajput.

The ‘trailer’ tale may also have an equally interesting addition as it is being heard that the trailer of SRK’s next ‘Happy New Year’ will be launched alongside ‘Singham Returns’. SRK clearly has utilized his friendship with the film’s director Rohit Shetty and his new found friend Ajay Devgn.
