Trailer: Nawazuddin, Arbaaz starrer ‘Freaky Ali’ is a laughter riot

The trailer of Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer ‘Freaky Ali’ was launched in an event on Sunday, August 7 and it looks promising. The film has been directed by Sohail Khan and produced by his superstar brother Salman Khan.

The ‘Kahaani’ actor plays the titular character of Ali in the film, and as the title suggests, he is freaky. The two-and-half-minute trailer introduces Nawaz as Ali who is a cricketer by passion. By profession, he is a small-time gangster who takes “hafta” (extorts money) from the neighbourhood people. But he is not fearsome at all and comes across rather funny. He becomes a golfer by chance when his inherent talent in the sport is recognised by a person who says he can be the “Sachin of golf.” Thus he is pulled into the rich men’s game, but he is determined to make his presence felt, and in the process ends up making some enemies on the course.

The movie stars Arbaaz Khan who plays Ali’s best buddy, while Amy Jackson plays his love interest. The movie also features Nikitin Dheer, Jas Arora, comedian Paresh Ganatra and Asif Basra among others. There are some witty and funny dialogues and scenes that will make one laugh aloud. Nawaz’s performance is up to the hilt.

Sohail also shared the trailer on his Facebook wall and wrote, “Golf is a game of manners and morals. ?#?FreakyAli doesn’t have it at all ;) Meet the game changer. Watch the trailer now. Nawazuddin Siddiqui Amy Jackson Arbaaz Khan.”

The music of ‘Freaky Ali’ has been composed by Sajid-Wajid and the film is set to hit theatres on September 9.
