Trailer:Gangster Arshad Warsi tries to win love in 'The Legend of Michael Mishra’
Arshad Warsi who is known for his comic acts, is back with another laughter riot titled 'The Legend of Michael Mishra'. He is cast opposite Aditi Rao Hydari in it. The film also features Boman Irani and his son Kayoze Irani. The father-son duo will be sharing the screen for the first time.
The trailer of the film has been released. The story is set in Patna, Bihar and the characters speak with a Bihari accent. Arshad who plays the title role of Michael Mishra is a “kidnaping specialist” who falls in love with Aditi’s character Varsha. But she lays down a condition that he must leave his felonious ways and become a good man. So he decides to transform himself from “Daku Valmiki” to “Sant Valmiki”, but keeps getting into trouble.
The almost two-and-half-minute trailer has some funny one-liners and Arshad’s naughty and mischievous ways. It also features a couple of songs one of them sung by Kanika Kapoor. There is also a court-room scene which brings to mind Arshad and Boman’s previous film ‘Jolly LLB’.
Boman plays the role of a narrator while Kayoze plays Michael’s close buddy in the film.
'The Legend of Michael Mishra' has been directed by Manish Jha who has previously offered critically acclaimed films like ‘Anwar’, ‘Mumbai Cutting’ and ‘Matrubhoomi’. The comedy flick is set to hit the theatres on August 5.
