Tiger Shroff-starrer ‘A Flying Jatt’ gets decent opening with Rs 7.10 cr
Tiger Shroff-starrer ‘A Flying Jatt’ released on Thrusday, August 25 on the occasion of Janmasthami and had a decent opening. Despite being a partial holiday, the film minted Rs 7.10 crores at the box office. The superhero flick had 25-30 percent occupancy, according to reports.
Noted trade analyst Taran Adarsh posted the opening day figures of the movie and tweeted, “#AFlyingJatt Thu [Janmashtami] ? 7.10 cr. India biz.”
It is Tiger’s third film but failed to perform at the box-office like his previous two films. His previous film ‘Baaghi’ opposite Shraddha Kapoor and directed by Sabbir Khan became a super-hit with Rs 76 crore nett collection and is the sixth highest grossing Bollywood film of the year so far.
Though the early estimates on Friday suggests that ‘A Flying Jatt’ collection on Day two will be lesser, there are chances of the film showing a good growth over the weekend.
The movie opened to mixed reviews. Director Remo D’Souza has made the film that will appeal to the kids and has lots of comedy with the serious issue of environmental pollution. Adults will also find it entertaining.
