...Since Santoshi’s cop flick is a multistarrer, other producers want to steer clear of Khakee. And now that the Amitabh-Akshay-Ajay-Ash starrer is finally opening on January 23, another Amitabh Bachchan starrer, Vikram Bhatt’s Aetbaar, finds itself in a soup. Aetbaar was, after all, slotted for January 23 originally. But if Vikram Bhatt’s film, which also stars John Abraham and Bipasha Basu, releases that day, it could be a case of Big B versus Big B. Something that Bhatt certainly wants to avoid. No wonder, Bhatt, who was shooting Jurm in Malaysia, was frantically contacting trade friends in India to ascertain if Khakee will really release on January 23. Well it will, and, at the time of going to Press, the release date of Aetbaar remains uncertain.
