No Filmfare for Bachchans because of Shahrukh?

The 53rd Fair One Filmfare Awards has seen the glittering faces of almost all the prominent personalities from the film fraternity. But the most desirable and much talked about characters were absent from this black lady night. They are none other than the high-flying Bachchans family members. It was surprising to see that none of the Bachchans attended the award ceremony.
Grapevine abuzz that the prime reason of their absence from this star-studded night was Shahrukh Khan. Last time, SRK had cut some rude jokes against them and knowing that this time also Shahrukh will host the function, they had decided to stay back. There are also two more interesting reasons why none of the Bachchans attended the ceremony. Firstly, they preferred to remain out as they do not have too many nominations this year. And they do not want to clap on others' achievements.
The last reason of their absence from the starry night is their mournful mood. Amitabh Bachchan’s mother Teji Bachchan passed away a couple of months ago, then, close friend Amar Singh’s dad also passed away recently. And the Bachchans are not in the mood of celebration. Whatever be the reason, the absence of four Bachchan stars did create some void in the celebration. What say?
