The Bachchan's cast their vote
Bollywood is not behind from casting their vote for the final phase of the Lok Sabha elections in Maharashtra on Thursday. Aamir Khan and John Abraham turned up early in the morning to cast their vote in order to avoid media glare while the Bachchan family went in the afternoon to their nearest polling booth in Juhu to exercise their franchise.
Shahrukh khan who arrived late to cast his vote has been mobbed by media and fans. He went to cast his vote in a Bandra polling station. "Being an actor and perhaps as someone people like to follow or listen to if I don't vote, everything that I endorse and all the jobs that I do, become irrelevant. Because the first endorsement I should give is for the electoral process," Shahrukh said.
Regarding voting, Aamir expressed his feelings in the following words, "Being an Indian it is our duty to exercise our voting rights. No matter where I am, I will come out and vote. I am very proud as an Indian to be a part of the voting fraternity."
Other Bollywood fraternities who visited their respective polling station to cast vote are Karan Johar, Sonali Bendre, Sonam Kapoor, Rahul Bose, Manyata Dutt, Paresh Rawal, Sanjay Dutt, Anupam Kher, Farhan Akhtar and many others.
