'Talaash' collects a decent 15 crores on its 1st day
Even a year back Aamir Khan would not have traded a festive season for a work-day film release. But this year saw him in a different light. He not only released his film on a Friday which is a work-day, he also fitted his film among other biggies.
Films like “Jab Tak Hai Jaan”, “Son of Sardar”, and “Life of Pi” have released before “Talaash” and “Khiladi 786” is supposed to release a week after, which have literally sandwiched “Talaash”. However, the cast and crew of “Talaash” went ahead for a release among such competition.
The film has received great reviews from the critics and the response from the audience too has been overwhelming. The content of the film has been cryptic and has been able to hold the curiosity of the film till the end.

“Talaash” stars two of the most talented actresses of the industry- Kareena Kapoor and Rani Mukerji. This film is Rani’s second film in this year after “Aiyaa” whereas for Kareena this is her first after marriage. The two of them have acted with grit and passion and it is difficult to choose as to who has outnumbered the other.
The film also has a good genre to its credit that is suspense thriller. Also the film has been directed by the very talented Reema Kagti. She made her debut in the industry with the multi-starrer “Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd”. The film has been produced by Aamir, Farhan Akhtar and Riteish Sidhwani.
