 In keeping with Shah Rukh's tremendous popularity in the overseas territory, the distributors of SWADES are planning to release the film with a record 275 prints over the world, even bigger than the recent SRK release, VEER-ZAARA, which was released with approximately 250 prints.
"We are looking at a very big overseas release for the film particularly in U.S and U.K. where Shah Rukh starrers are known to draw an extraordinary response. In addition, we are planning to release the film in ten international languages including English, French, German, Polish, Arabic and other languages. The only difference being that the overseas release will be spread over a period of two months in December and January," says Ashok Holla, head of overseas distribution, U.T.V. Pictures.
Holla has also denied rumors that Gowarikar is planning to edit the film by another thirty minutes, specially for the overseas market. "The 3.15 hours length is quite acceptable. Even VEER-ZAARA was of the same duration," he points out.
