Suzanne, Gauri Khan launch new project in Dubai
The friendship between star wives Gauri Khan and Sussanne Roshan is well known in Bollywood. Now, the two have decided to take their relationship one step further and enter into business relationship. It is now confirmed that the two have decided to enter into real estate business. they are now ready to showcase their talents on an international platform. According to a source close to them, “Gauri and Sussanne have now teamed up to launch a luxury mansion project in Goa. Called Naira, this project is said to involve 12 villas and is targeted at society’s swish set. Sussanne’s Charcoal Project has been roped in to do the interior designing.” This is the first project of the duo. The limited edition collection of furniture and accessories of Sussanne will be showcased in this series of 12 luxury villas.
A source revealed the business plans of Gauri and Sussanne in greater detail. "Sussanne is a well established name in the interior decor business and both she and Gauri are recognizable names and they are hoping to cash in on their brand value." The source further added, "Currently negotiations are still on regarding profit distribution but it is likely to be divided between the two ladies and the developers in question, revealed the source." Asked whether they will be supervising the construction projects in person, the source revealed, "No they might not be involved in the day to day activities, they will mainly be the face of the business.
Now that the finer details have been finalized, a celebrity party is planned in Dubai to mark the inauguration of the partnership. The party is scheduled for March 22 and is to be held in the Emirates Hill Residence of prominent Dubai Socialite, Rekha Tourani. The lady is a close friend of Sussanne and asked about the party, she said, “Yes, a launch party is being held at my residence and I have invited NRIs in Dubai who could be prospective buyers for these villas. I have no commercial interest in the project. Sussanne is like a family member to me, so I am only happy to host this event for her.” She further revealed, “Andrew Martin, a well-known name in the international furniture design community, is also involved with the project. We are having a Dubai launch as we want the project to get international exposure. After all, everybody wishes to own a holiday home in Goa.”
