Sushmita Sen’s international project alongside Hollywood actor Richard Gere

Sushmita Sen has recently completed her international project, Karma, Confession and Holi with stars like Naomi Campbell and Drena De Niro. Back home in bollywood, Sush is all set for her next release 'Zindaggi Rocks' opposite Shiney Ahuja. The film is directed by Tanuja Chandra and Sush plays a Rockstar. Recently Sush was injured while shooting for the film , her neck was hurt and she has been at home recuperating for the last three weeks. Now according to sources the ex Miss Universe will be doing her second international project soon. The film is titled ‘The Expat’ and will also star Hollywood actor Richard Gere.
Sushmita Sen confirms her Hollywood project and says “I have already signed the film. And yes Richard Gere plays the male lead.” Unfortunately Sush has not completely recovered from her recent neck injury and hence she cannot travel at the moment. Presently the pretty actress is co-coordinating her dates for the Hollywood project and she has also rescheduled some of her other assignments due to her injury. Sush will also wrap up the dubbing for her film ‘Zindaggi Rocks’ soon. Sushmita will also be doing a film with director David Dhawan.

Sushmita is happy with her two international projects and also with her films in bollywood. She does not intend to give up either Hollywood films or bollywood films as she is quite happy balancing both of them. Sush says “I am happy to work with such people. I know that it takes a lot of effort to make a film and it’s all about teamwork and my being out of action means a lot of rescheduling.” Sush also wants to make a film under her banner 'Tantra' based on the life story of Rani Lakshmibai where she will essay the main role of the Jhansi Ki Rani. Sush was last seen in Kalpana Lajmi’s Chingari where she played a village prostitute; unfortunately the film did not take off at the box-office.
