Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande on talking terms

Ex-lovers Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande broke up their six-year-long relationship earlier this year. But there’s no friendship lost between the former couple and they are on talking terms, that’s what the ‘Kai Po Che!’ actor indicated in a recent interview.

In a tell-all interview to a leading tabloid, Sushant has opened up about his break-up, what happened between them and the current situation.

Post break-up with Ankita, Sushant has been linked up with his ‘Raabta’ co-star Kriti Sanon. It was also reported that post his Budapest schedule, he moved straightaway to his new apartment in Bandra. He didn’t even step into his old house in Malad where he used live-in with Ankita, in order to avoid facing her.

Sushant revealed that he spoke to Lokhande after he returned from Budapest. Although he didn't divulge more on what he spoke with the actress, he did affirm that things are amicable between them. He also said that she recently told him about a project she is excited about and that he wished her luck. He added that Ankita is very talented and deserves a good film to showcase her versatility.

A few days ago, Ankita suffered burn injuries on her neck and hands. She had lit an aromatic candle in her bedroom and the curtain caught fire. In her attempt to stop the fire from spreading she ended up burning herself. Rumour mills are buzzing that Sushant is affected by the news and he might pay his ex-girlfriend a visit.

Sushant and Ankita broke up under mysterious circumstances. They had even announced to get married by this year-end. But all of a sudden, they started dropping hints of trouble in their relationship with some sentimental tweets.

Meanwhile, Sushant is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film ‘MS Dhoni – The Untold Story’, the biopic on cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Directed by Neeraj Pandey, the movie also stars Anupam Kher, Kiara Advani, Bhoomika Chawla, Kumud Mishra among others and is slated to hit screens on September 30.
