We have seen a number of promotional techniques aiming at promoting a particular upcoming movie. Now, we hear a promotional technique from an upcoming movie ‘Shudh Desi Romance’. In the movie, the lead actors, Sushant Singh Rajput and Parineeti Chopra, are staying together as live-in partners. ‘Live-in relationship’ is considered taboo in this country. So, the actors will be visiting a few college campuses and talk openly about the facts about live-in relationships.

Sushant and Parineeti will be visiting The Mudra Institute of Communications in Ahmedabad and The Jawaharlal Nehru University in Delhi.

A source says, “The Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad has a co-ed hostel where boys and girls can opt to stay under the same roof. Sushant and Parineeti are headed there to talk about how relationships are perceived in the Indian society.”

Students at both the campuses are quite excited to meet their stars.

A student from the college said, “We have heard that Parineeti is coming here. We are all waiting to see her.” A source from the production house of the movie confirmed their awaited trip to both the cities.

‘Shudh Desi Romance’ is directed by Maneesh Sharma and is produced by Aditya Chopra. Apart from Sushant and Parineeti, a new comer Vaani Kapoor, will be acting in the lead role. She will be debuting in Bollywood with this movie. The movie is scheduled to be released on 6th September.

The first promotional song ‘Tere Mere Beech Mein’ is sung by Sunidhi Chauhan and Rohit Chauhan. ‘Gulabi’ is sung by Jigar Saraiya and Priya Saraiya. Jyoti Prakash from IBO Database rated the songs of the album, 3.5 out of 5 stars. He said, “On the whole, the soundtrack on offer is sweet, refreshing and very likable. Sure, the romance is very much Desi, but whether it is Shuddh (read magical) is a tough question to answer.”

Sushant and Parineeti promoted the movie on the sets of a reality dance show on colors ‘Jhalak Dikhla Ja’. Both the actors danced with the host of the show, Madhuri Dixit.
