Sunny Leone to star in an adult Marathi film
Sunny Leone, who is celebrating the success of her latest film, ‘Ragini MMS 2’, it seems has cast quite a magic spell on Bollywood. And if the media buzz is to be believed, it looks like she is set to take another leap forward. The industry rumour is that the Canadian adult film star turned actress may appear in a Marathi adult film.
A source was quoted in the media saying, “Director Sujay Dahake has offered her a film tentatively titled ‘Vulgar Activities Incorp’. As the name suggests, the film has adult content and Sunny was the natural choice.”
Incidentally, Sujay had directed the National Award winning Marathi film ‘Shala’. He is known to have been working on his ambitious project ‘Ajoba’, starring Urmila Matondkar. He is reportedly also scheduled to make an autobiography of renowned social activist Sane Guruji.
“After the release of ‘Ajoba’, Sujay will begin work on Sunny’s film and then make the biopic which is likely to take time to roll as it will be shot in black and white,” the source added.
Reports say that Sujay and Sunny were not available for comment.
If the reports are indeed true, it would be quite interesting to see Sunny Leone in a Marathi film. Speculations come up from here as well, whether she would have to go through Marathi speech classes since she does not know the language at all, or whether her dialogues would be dubbed in the movie.
Sunny is an Indo-Canadian and American actress, businesswoman, model and former pornographic actress. She was named Penthouse Pet of the Year in 2003 and was a contract star for Vivid Entertainment. Her first mainstream appearance was in 2005, when she was a red carpet reporter for the MTV Awards on MTV India. Later, she made her Bollywood debut in Pooja Bhatt’s erotic thriller ‘Jism 2’ in 2012.
In 2011, Sunny participated in the Indian reality series ‘Bigg Boss’. During her stay in the ‘Bigg Boss’ house, the actress was approached by film-maker Mahesh Bhatt who came to the house briefly to offer her the lead role in ‘Jism 2’ (a sequel to the 2003 movie ‘Jism’). Sunny accepted the offer.
After this Sunny signed her second Bollywood film, which is Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Ragini MMS 2’ as sequel to ‘Ragini MMS’. Reportedly Sunny and the makers of ‘Ragini MMS2’ have been celebrating the success of the film.
