Sunny Leone shoots item song for Kannada film ‘DK’

Sunny Leone’s fame has been increasing since the release of her film ‘Ragini MMS 2’. Not only does she have several Bollywood films in hand but she has started to steadily get offers from the South Indian film industries. Recently she shot an item song for the Kannada film ‘DK’. The song titled ‘Seshamma seshamma’ is a folk song. The film has popular face of Kannada films, Prem in the lead.

A special set was prepared for the song and the makers also made sure that the shooting did not attract much attention. A source from to the production unit said, "She has been shooting with us for the last three days at a set specially erected for the song. We are likely to finish shooting the song today (Monday). It's a folk song and audiences are sure going to enjoy seeing Sunny groove to it".

The source also added, "We've been shooting the song secretly as we didn't want Sunny's presence in the city to attract public attention."  Sunny Leone made her debut down south with an item number in the film ‘Vadacurry’. She has also completed her first acting work in South India with the Telugu film ‘Current Theega’.

Interestingly, ‘Seshamma seshamma’ is not the only item song Sunny Leone has shot recently. She was also part of an item song for the film, ‘Leela’. Written and directed by Bobby Khan, ‘Leela’ is a musical, passionate love story. The film will be extensively shot in locations across London and Rajasthan. Sunny Leone will be appearing in a desi avatar for the song. The song was shot at Panch Kunda Mandir in Jodhpur.

Sunny Leone’s first item song was in the Bollywood film ‘Shootout At Wadala’ in 2013. The song ‘Laila’ became quite popular and since then Sunny has been in high demand for item numbers. She has even trailed top Bollywood actresses in this regard. On the acting front, Sunny is getting ready for the release of her first ever action film, ‘Tina and Lolo’. Directed by Devang Dholakia. It also stars Karishma Tanna, Deepak Tijori and Taaha Shah. Sunny Leone is also part of the Milap Zaveri directed sex comedy, ‘Mastizaade’, produced by Pritish Nandy. The film is expected to release this year.  Sunny Leone is not just restricted to the big screen. She has also landed her first TV project as a host of the reality show ‘Spiltsvilla 7’.
