 It is a casting coup of sorts for Vijayta Films. Actor-producer Sunny Deol is all set to launch a new film that will bring him and father Dharmendra together on screen once again. They earlier did Sunny, Kshatriya and Sultanat together.
Though Sunny and the people at Vijayta Films are tight lipped about the project, sources say the two will have pivotal roles in the film. It has also been learnt that Yusuf Khan, who had earlier made his debut with Khel, has been roped in to direct the project
Besides Sunny and Dharmendra, newcomer Kabir Sawhney, who plays a key role in Ammtoje Mann’s Kaafila along with Sunny, has been cast in this upcoming film in an important role.
Sunny, who was on the lookout for the right script to present the father and son together, was so taken in by Yusuf Khan’s subject that he decided to launch the film with Yusuf as the director.
This despite the fact that after Khel flopped Yusuf has not signed any other film.
A source from Vijayta Films said that Sunny would start work on the project after his current under-production film Deodhar Gandhi is readied for release.
