Sunil Grover to play Salman Khan’s best friend in ‘Bharat’


Sunil Grover has signed his second Bollywood movie. Just days after director Vishal Bhardwaj signed up the noted comedian, he has been signed for Salman Khan starrer ‘Bharat’. Best known for his role as Dr Gulati on ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ the actor will reportedly play Salman’s best buddy in Ali Abbas Zafar’s ‘Bharat’.

Salman Khan and Sunil Grover shares a great rapport. Salman was seen as guest on ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’ and also on ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’. Sunil also shot a special show called ‘Super Night with Tubelight’ with Salman Khan and Sohail Khan where he played Dr Mashoor Gulati. 

An Indian Express report quoted a source as saying, “Sunil Grover will be playing Salman Khan’s friend in Bharat. His role is not like what we see in another films where comedians are used for a couple of comic punches and then they disappear. He has an interesting role in the film.”

‘Bharat’ an official adaptation of 2014 South Korean film, Ode to My Father will see Salman Khan in five different looks.

Priyanka Chopra has been roped in to play Salman’s ladylove. Few days ago, Salman Khan gave the muhurat shot.

The film will be shot in locals like London, Spain, Poland, Portugal, and Malta. This will be Salman’s third collaboration with Zafar after ‘Sultan’ and ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’.
