Studio 18 to release Rann internationally
Studio 18 will release Ram Gopal Varma's keenly awaited drama-thriller Rann in the US, UK and UAE. The studio had previously distributed the producer Madhu Mantena's Ghajini in India.
The film, which stars the legendary superstar Amitabh Bachchan with Paresh Rawal, Riteish Deshmukh, Rajat Kapoor, Mohnish Bahl and others, is slated for a 29th January release.
In Rann, Bachchan plays an upright media baron whose channel is sinking with the rapid emergence of a rival channel that creates sensationalized news.
