Style Check: Sonakshi, Deepika, Huma at the 20th Screen Awards
The first award function of the year saw Bollywood hunks and diwas in their best spirits. They looked hot and sore the temperature high of the wintry evening. While few got thumbs up from the style gurus others could not impress the gurus. We take a look at the costumes of a few celebrities at the 20th screen awards.
Deepika looked a million dollar in her black and gold Alexander McQueen gown. It was a raised collar gown. Her hair was puffed up from front giving her a look of Egyptian beauty. Her big rings made bold statement.
While Deepika sizzled, her alleged boyfriend and co star from ‘Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram Leela’, failed to impress us. Sans his mustache and beard, he looked little odd. Even he felt uncomfortable without his signature hairy look. In velvet blue coat, he just managed to look rich but not a cool hunk.
Well, this time critics won’t have much to talk against Sonakshi’s auntyji looks. The diva looked transformed. She looked every inch elegant in a nude colored sequenced Amit GT gown. Her soft curly hair just added the appeal of her beautiful facial frame. She had completed her look with matching cute clutch.
Kalki looked radiant in Nikhil Thampi saree. It was a fusion wear with a beautiful belt perfectly fitted to her slender waist. The pleats of the saree were made of net fabric which revealed her long and sexy legs.
Huma Qureshi failed to impress us as she wore one shouldered maroon gown with a long slit. It was quite boring and made her look chunky. But yes, we did notice her Atelier Mon ear cuffs and they looked beautiful.
The Bachchan family was present sans bahu Aishwarya Rai and Aaradhya. While Big B chose to go with a formal three piece suit and red tie, son Abhishek chose to keep all black. He wore black suit with neck tie. Jaya brought color to the family click as she chose to wear a beautiful pink saree.
Varun Dhawan chose to wear a white jacket coat with black borders. He carried off the look well. Abhay Deol made a statement by wearing a denim pant over coat and tie. He looked different yet desirable
SRK was in his usual formal getup as he was seen in a pre tied bow tie and wing tip collared shirt.
