SRK not happy with KJo’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’; suggests changes

Karan Johar recently invited his close buddies for a dinner and showed them a glimpse of his upcoming directorial venture ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’.

The guests including Zoya Akhtar, Shah Rukh Khan and his wife Gauri, Manish Malhotra and Kajal Anand were treated to the film’s rushes, especially its songs and trailer on Sunday, July 3. Karan later asked for their feedback on his work.

While everyone loved what they saw, Shah Rukh was unhappy and suggested several changes in the film. Karan also obliged and is ready to apply the changes proposed by his friend-cum-critic, according to a report in Mumbai Mirror.

However, Shah Rukh’s better half Gauri seems to have liked the trailer. In fact, she took to her Facebook wall and shared a picture with the filmmaker and wrote, “Just saw the teaser of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil …congratulations Karan very impressive and [email protected]

‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ is Karan’s directorial venture after a gap of three years after his 2012 film ‘Student of the Year’. The movie with an ensemble cast of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Anushka Sharma, Ranbir Kapoor and Pakistani heartthrob Fawad Khan went on floors in London in early September last year.

While taking off to London to begin shooting for the film, the ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ director had tweeted that he is a bundle of nerves. “Enroute to London!!! Anxious…nervous and excited!! Will be on set in 10 days….#aedilhaimushkil,” he had posted on the micro-blogging site.

The ‘Dilwale’ actor had also wished him luck saying that Karan will make “the most awesome film,” and also offered to help him.

'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' is triangle love story about unrequited love. It has been mostly shot abroad in London and Austria, and back home in Jodhpur. It is slated to release on October 28.
