Zayed being...
...Hrithik’s brother-in-law [Zayed’s sis Suzanne is married to Hrithik], was there an air of uneasiness while shooting his portions with SRK?

“I was slightly uncomfortable on the first day of shoot,” Zayed reminisces, “That’s because I was facing the camera with SRK, the star. But we hit it off on the first day itself. Actually, we had to share a good rapport off screen, otherwise the camaraderie wouldn’t show on the big screen.”

Zayed refers to MAIN HOON NA as a major learning experience. “I’ve learnt so much from this one film. Farah Khan [the director] saw to it that the output was perfect. Working with SRK was also an enlightening experience.”

Things seem to be brightening up for Zayed on the career front. Besides MAIN HOON NA, Zayed has also bagged Pritish Nandy Communications’ SHABD, which is likely to co-star Ajay Devgan and Aishwarya Rai in the lead. Leena Bajaj [wife of cinematographer Aseem Bajaj] will direct the film.

The other project Zayed has signed will be produced by Nitin Manmohan and directed by Puneet Sira [I – PROUD TO BE AN INDIAN]. This film brings cousins Fardeen and Zayed together for the first time.
