SRK: I am 42 and have to look after my body now

While some may feel that Shahrukh Khan will always be the King Khan of Hindi cinema, others feel differently. Today with many new young and talented actors on the block, it certainly seems like tough competition. And it seems like SRK too has joined the trend of changing his look and keeping himself fit in order to keep up with the competition. In fact SRK himself admits “I am 42 and have to look after my body now.” So King Khan is that a note of insecurity that we detect in there?
However at the same time King Khan maintains that while he was on vacation he just let his hair grow out long. And as for his lean look he is working out a lot these days to consciously stay fit. SRK has also taken up sports as a way to keep fit. However once again King Khan proudly announces about his new look “Some say I look good and others feel otherwise. When I look in the mirror, I see myself, good or bad.” While SRK is trying to give the young heroes tough competition by keeping himself physically fit, even professionally he is doing films with the latest fads like superhero flicks, sci-fi flicks, etc.



Salman Khan generously gives paanwala bundle of Rs.50 notes



Salman Khan is known to be extremely generous when it comes to close friends and family. He often gifts his friends’ expensive gifts like Rolex watches, his paintings etc and his family has even complained that many people take advantage of Salman’s generous nature. Salman recently distributed a bundle of Rs.50 notes to a paanwala as the man had earlier given him a pack of cigarettes trusting him to repay for it later. Well it seems Salman definitely knows how to return a favour.



Salman was cycling to his shooting destination and en route he wanted to have a smoke, so he approached a paanwala who was selling cigarette packs. But as Salman was cycling to his destination he did not have any money on him at that time. Hence Sallu requested the vendor to give him the cigarette pack and ensured that he would pay him later. Unfortunately for Sallu the first paanwala did not recognize the star and refused outright to give him the pack of cigarettes. So Sallu decided to try another vendor and to his luck the paanwala agreed to give him the cigarette packet and trusted that Sallu would pay him later. Later, on his way back Salman rewarded the vendor who had given him the cigarette packet with a bundle of Rs.50 notes in spite of the pack not costing that much. The vendor was delighted at Sallu’s sheer

generosity.



Bips and John’s frequent lunches together



While the media and everyone else might be claiming that John and Bips have split. The two seem to be enjoying the secrecy around whether they have or have not split. However it seems that neither John nor Bips are least concerned with rumours of their split and continue to meet up for regular lunches together. John is often spotted by neighbours at Bipasha’s place and the two enjoy their time together. At home Bipasha’s cook makes Bengali vegetarian curries for John who is a veggie while Bips digs into her Bengali fish.



While Bips and John are spending time together perhaps to revive their relationship, it seems Saif Ali Khan too often meets up with Bips sometimes dropping in on her sets and sometimes chilling with her and friends at a night spot. So it seems the pretty bong bombshell is keeping her options open. Well that may not be such a bad idea. But nonetheless Bips will always be there for John whether they are seeing each other or not. Recently when John’ parents were really ill, she was very supportive and was often spotted visiting his parents at the hospital.



Aamir Khan’s pet name ‘Chhote’ by wife Kiran



Aamir Khan and wife Kiran Rao are known to keep an extremely low profile and do not mingle much with the rest of bollywood. And even when the two attend social do’s they are somewhat aloof. But recently Salman invited Aamir and his wife Kiran Rao for his party and the husband-wife duo seemed in a particularly good mood. After a while Kiran even began calling Aamir by her private pet name for him. Kiran kept calling Aamir ‘Chhote’. Well that’s a weird endearment for one’s husband but Aamir didn’t seem to mind at all.



Salman too heard Kiran call Aamir ‘Chhote’ and he was extremely tickled by this unusual pet name for Aamir. After a while he too jokingly began to tease Aamir and call him ‘Chhote’. Salman seemed totally amused by Kiran’s pet name for Aamir.



Shahid-Kareena can’t do without each other



Shahid Kapur and Kareena Kapoor are known to be one of bollywood's hottest couples and they have been seeing each other for quite a while. However it seems that the secret of staying together for Shahid-Kareena is spending a lot of time with each other and being there for the other. Kareena and Shahid always consult each other on the films they sign. Kareena even accompanies her beau for many of his script hearing sessions and photo shoots. Recently Kareena had accompanied Shahid for a photo-shoot for one of his films; however she was not very happy with Shahid’s clothes for the shoot So she asked the designer Akki Narula who is also designing for her in a forthcoming film to change Shahid’s clothes. The designer obliged and both Kareena and Shahid were very happy.



Well if Kareena is always being there for Shahid, the latter too makes many adjustments for his ladylove. Shahid recently had to leave on a two month shooting schedule for Canada while his ladylove Kareena had to go to Ladakh for the shooting of her forthcoming film. It was obvious the two would not be able to spend much time with each other. And so Shahid promptly asked his producers to delay the shoot to Canada so that he could spend a few more days with Kareena before she left for Ladakh. To Shahid’s good luck the producers agreed and the two lovebirds have been spotted spending a lot of quality time together. So now we know what makes this relationship work.
