Sridevi, Boney Kapoor campaign for Amar Singh
According to reports, witnesses said large crowds gathered to see the star, causing traffic snarls on the national highway. Amar Singh’s RLD has an alliance with the Congress. He set to fight against Samajwadi Party’s Pakshlika Singh and BJP’s Choudhary Babu Lal. The Aam Admi Party’s candidate from the seat is Laxmi Choudhary.
Media reports said, the actress, addressing the crowd, adorned Amar Singh as the true well-wisher of the people of Fatehpur Sikri and said that only he was contesting the election on the development plank while the other parties were contesting on negative politics. She said that Amar Singh had taken up issues that were the elementary basis for survival of the people of the region and Fatehpur Sikri would be fortunate to choose him as its MP.
Social activist Imran Qureshi reportedly said that Amar Singh had a lot of experience in politics at the national level compared to other candidates in the fray. So it’ll be better to vote for Singh as he would definitely be able to put forward the issues of Fatehpur Sikri in Parliament more effectively than the other candidates, who were rather new to politics than Singh.
