Sreesanth to shake a leg on ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 7’

Few names have been finalized for the dance reality show, ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa’. The contestants are very popular and it is sure to cater the interest of the audience. One of the most promising participants of the show is cricketer Sreesanth who has been expelled from Indian cricket team for involving in match fixing. Sreesanth also served jail for few months and later released on bail.

At first Sreesanth was hesitant to take part on the show but later he agreed as ‘Jhalak...’ would be the best platform to tell his side of story on match fixing.

"Sreesanth was approached two months ago after he was released from jail. Jhalak Dikhla Jaa wanted to provide him with a platform to tell his story about the spot-fixing allegations. Sreesanth refused," said a source.

"We think at that time he thought he'd clear his name and get back to cricket. But after he was banned, Sreesanth softened towards the idea of doing the show," the source added.

The former cricketer was finalized this week after he gave his nod.  "Sreesanth is preparing for a career in music and acting. He sees Jhalak as a stepping stone to movies. And yes, he will be talking about the spot-fixing charges," said the source.

Other probable contestants of the show are actor Purab Kohli, Sanaya Irani, Karan Kundra, Yuvvraj Singh, dancer Daksha Sheth, Shobhaa De, Milkha Singh, Atif Aslam and the controversial Lulia Vantur, singer-composer Sukhwinder Singh, singer-actress Sophie Choudry, and popular TV faces Karan Tacker and Mouni Roy are likely to show their jalwa on the Jhalak dance floor.

The seventh season will again repeat the ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa’ past judges filmmaker Karan Johar, dancing diva Madhuri Dixit and ace choreographer Remo D'Souza and the show will be hosted by Manish Paul.
