Sooraj Pancholi, Parineeti Chopra to star in Bosco Martis' directorial debut
Sooraj Pancholi and Parineeti Chopra have been roped as the lead actors in choreographer Bosco Martis' directorial debut ‘Circus’. It is a musical drama which centres on a father-daughter relationship spanning a decade, and also features Suniel Shetty.
"The story revolves around the dying craze for the circus. Sooraj will be seen doing some daredevil acts. There is a romantic track between Sooraj and Pari," informs a source close to the development,” a Mumbai Mirror report quoted a source as saying.
The scripting for the film began a year ago and it will go on floors in December. The movie will have loads of action and dance sequences with fire and water acts.
Sooraj, who made his debut with romantic action film ‘Hero’ last year, had earlier revealed that he wanted to do another action film and love story before moving on to content-driven films. ‘Circus’ is a mix of both. Sooraj has liked the script and will start preparing for the film after signing on the dotted line, the source added.
Meanwhile, Sooraj will begin shooting for choreographer-turned-director Remo D’Souza’s dance-action film next month. He has also signed a sports film to be directed by ad filmmaker Pierre Timmins. The film which revolves around soccer, will be produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidwani's Excel Entertainment.
On the other hand, Parineeti is also working for romantic drama ‘Meri Pyaari Bindu’ in which she will be seen opposite Ayushmann Khurrana. She will also make her singing debut with the film being directed by Akshay Roy and produced by Maneesh Sharma under Yash Raj Films.
