Sonam Kapoor to star in Priyadarshan’s film

Sonam Kapoor has kicked out Mani Ratnam’s offer but she has accepted director Priyadarshan’s film which will be a remake of a Hollywood film ‘Freaky Friday’. In fact, it was Sonam Kapoor’s idea to remake the English film in Hindi.
Buzz is that papa Anil Kapoor is behind the project and he has own the rights of Walt Disney Productions’. It’s a story about mother and a daughter’s relationship and their identities. While Sonam will play the role of the daughter, hunt is for the mother. Veteran actress Rekha and Shabana Azmi are in the mind but not yet finalized.
The shooting of the film will start by the end of this year. ‘Freaky Friday’ stars Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan.
Another interesting development is that Aditya Chopra has a very attractive project for the papa and the daughter and both Anil and Sonam liked the script and said to have given their nod.
