A new love story is in the making. Actress Sonam Kapoor is in love with director Punit Malhotra. An artist in love with his director is not a good sign as it may hamper the work process. Punit Malhotra is directing Sonam Kapoor in ‘I hate luv stories’. During the shooting, both indulge in chatting which does not go well with Punit’s uncle Manish Malhotra and producer Karan Johar. They advise Punit to concentrate only on work.
The two became serious about their love during their New Zealand schedule. The source says, "Punit was constantly taking Sonam's photos and telling her how gorgeous she looked. Whenever they weren't shooting, the two would go out and try new places for dinner. In fact, Sonam even told her sister Rhea about Punit."
Filmmaker Karan Johar is well aware of the love between Sonam and Punit and warned him against Sonam as she is very moody and short temper.
