Sonakshi steps into rival Kareena Kapoor’s shoes
Kareena Kapoor is the brand ambassador of Boroplus cream and now following her footsteps is Sonakshi Sinha. Sonakshi and Kareena share a cold vibes and Kareena once expressed her disliking for the ‘Dabangg’ actress on Karan Johar’s chat show, ‘Koffee With Karan’ by tagging her a sweet housewife rather than an actress. Kareena took a dig at Sonakshi and now Sonakshi had overpowered the diva by endorsing the same product which Kareena has been endorsing for so long time.
FMCG firm Emami has roped in Sonakshi Sinha as brand ambassador for its BoroPlus face-wash range. The Kolkata-based company has roped in Sonakshi Sinha who recently played a Bengali girl in her latest flick, ‘Bullet Raja’ as their brand ambassador for Rs 400-crore BoroPlus brand.
Commenting on the development, Emami
Director Priti A Sureka said: "Her popularity amongst cine-goers across
various demographies and markets--metros, Tier 1, Tier 2 cities and big and
small towns makes her a natural choice as the ambassador for this all-season
brand which caters to a wide ranging consumer periphery".
"I am really excited to be associated with BoroPlus, an iconic brand which has a legacy of offering natural skincare," Sonakshi Sinha said.
Apart from Sonakshi, celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Bipasha Basu, were the brand ambassador of Boroplus product.
