Sonakshi Sinha shoots with Karan Gill for ‘Noor’ in Worli
Sonakshi Sinha has kick-started the shooting of her upcoming film, ‘Noor’. She was spotted with her co-star Karan Gill on Worli seaface. ‘Noor’ based on Pakistani scribe writer Saba Imtiaz's 2014 novel, ‘Karachi You're Killing Me’ traces the journey of a young journalist her the mishaps she meted with while chasing breaking news.
The film will mark Bollywood debut host of debuts like stand-up comedian Kanan Gill VJ-turned-host, Shibani Dandekar and ad film maker Sunheel Sippy.
It is also learnt that Sunny Leone will also play a cameo in the film.
A source close to the development informs, "Sunny will shoot with Sonakshi over three-four days, she began on Thursday." Vikram confirmed the news, saying, "Yes, Sunny is a part of our movie and appears in key scenes. It's a role which only Sunny could play. You'll realise when you watch the movie. Casting her was our director's idea."
Sunny restates it was fun shooting with Sonakshi. "I wish the team all the best," refusing to divulge more details.
Speaking about ‘Noor’, Sonakshi said, "Basically Noor is the journey of a girl who just happens to be a journalist.
It's about the ups and downs in her relationships with
friends, family and co-workers that every girl will relate to. It's a nice
novel but since our film is based in Mumbai and not Karachi, it's more about a
single girl in the city. There are no bomb sites, ours is a fun film," she
